The Novel SSTR3 Full Agonist ITF2984 Shows Antitumor Properties against Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

ITF2984, a novel SSTR3-targeting multireceptor agonist, shows comparable or enhanced antiproliferative, pro-apoptotic, and antisecretory effects versus pasireotide in pancreatic NET models.

These findings highlight its potential as an alternative targeted therapy for SSTR3-expressing tumors, including advanced Pan-NETs.

Anti-secretory and anti-proliferative actions of next-generation dual subtype 2 and 5 somatostatin receptor ligands in neuroendocrine tumor models

Novel dual SSTR2/SSTR5 agonists (SMTR-001–005) demonstrate antisecretory and antiproliferative effects comparable or superior to current somatostatin analogs in preclinical neuroendocrine tumor models.

These findings support their development as next-generation targeted therapies for SSTR2/5-expressing tumors.

Tribbles Genes in Gastric Cancer: A Tumor-Suppressive Role for TRIB2

TRIB2 displays a tumor-suppressive role in chromosomal instability gastric cancer, with low expression associated with advanced disease and increased tumor aggressiveness.

These findings identify TRIB2 as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in gastric cancer.
